If you're looking for an eco-friendly hiking spot where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery while walking on a well-maintained trail, there's no better place to go than Jeju Island. Jeju Olle-gil is a series of walking trails that stretch around the entire coast of the island. The trails pass through various landscapes along the way, including small villages, beaches, farms and forests. Each route offers a unique opportunity to soak in the beauty of Jeju and the island's culture.

Jejudo is a volcanic island, dominated by Hallasan: a volcano 1,950 metres (6,400 ft) high and the highest mountain in South Korea. The island measures approximately 73 kilometres across, east to west, and 41 kilometres from north to south. The island formed by volcanic eruptions approximately 2 million years ago. There may be an option to hike Mt Hallasan depending on weather conditions.

There are a total of 26 hiking routes, consisting of 21 main routes and five sub-routes, around the Island. We will be walking six of these routes ranging in length from 11 to 21km. PADS ratings for the six trails range from 1.7 to 2.0, so anyone with a reasonable level of fitness can join this trip. The maximum ascent of the six hikes is 200m, the trails are excellent and the pace will be comfortable and relaxed with regular breaks. Note that the hike up Mt Hallison has a PADS rating of 2.9 (moderate to hard), but this hike is optional.
