Itinerary (Fully Customisable)
You can adjust the distance, duration, and pace, add days in Hanoi or Sapa, or include experiences like cooking classes or food tours.

Day 1 — Arrive in Hanoi
Transfer to your hotel in the vibrant Old Quarter.
Explore Hanoi’s lively streets and enjoy a traditional Vietnamese dinner.

Day 4 – Sapa to Ta Van Village
Hike 13km through beautiful valleys to Ta Van (Moderate).
Lunch at a local café. Dinner and overnight at a Ta Van homestay.

Day 7 – Depart Vietnam or Extend Your Stay
Transfer to the airport for your flight home, or continue exploring Vietnam’s wonders.

Day 2 – Discover Hanoi and Travel to Sapa
Morning: 3-hour guided walk (6km) through Hanoi’s Old Quarter.
Afternoon: Limousine or bus transfer to Sapa (approx. 5 hours).
Stay overnight in a Sapa hotel.

Day 5 – Ta Van to Ban Mo Village
Continue your hike (13km, Moderate) through scenic trails and peaceful farmlands.
Lunch at a local café, return to Sapa by bus. Stay overnight in Sapa.

Day 3 – Silver Waterfall Trail
After breakfast, enjoy a light hike (Easy–Moderate) with breathtaking views of Silver Waterfall.
Stay overnight in a Sapa hotel or homestay.

Day 6 – Free Morning in Sapa
Free morning for shopping, a spa treatment or the optional cable car to Mt Fansipan.
Afternoon bus to Hanoi. Stay overnight in Hanoi hotel.

Accommodation
The accommodation is excellent in Vietnam. The quoted price includes accommodation and breakfast at 3 star hotels. The rooms are generous in size and all have their own bathroom. Note that bed linen and towels are provided at every accommodation we stay at. While hiking you will also stay at a ‘Homestay’ which is quite basic. The hosts are very friendly and meals are provided.
Meals
Breakfast is included each morning. Usually it is a mix of western and Vietmanese food.
Lunch & Dinner – Usually you can find a café on the trail to have some lunch. There are many restaurants and cafes to choose from, located near our accommodations for dinner. Lunches and dinners are at your own cost.
Snacks – please bring or purchase your own snacks and ensure you have sufficient water each day.
On some hiking days in remote areas, meals will be provided
Is the Hiking Difficult?
Overall the hike is rated Moderate to Active, ideal for active hikers. There are some hilly sections to navigate, and some of the trails can be muddy. The routes chosen will be decided after consultation with the guide, and you can choose easy, moderate or difficult, or a combination of these. It is not compulsory to hike each day. If you prefer to have a rest day at any stage, this can be accommodated.
Our hike does not include Mt Fansipan, but you can visit the summit via a cablecar if you want during your free time.
Where do you go on the first day?
We will provide you with detailed trip notes. Your hotel in Hanoi, and how to get there will be included in your trip notes. Taxis from the airport to the hotel are reasonably priced. Hotel details will be provided once confirmed.

Is there Luggage Transfer?
No, but luggage can be left in your room or at the hotel. You only need to carry a day pack while hiking.
Bookings And Payments
You can book online through our website with a booking fee of A$500. We will then contact you with tour details. The balance is due 1 month prior to the trip start date.
Cancellations And Refunds
Please refer to our Cancellation and Refund Policy. refunds are possible if you can provide a replacement participant.
Do I Need Travel Insurance?
We strongly recommend travel insurance for all guests. It should cover cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, medical costs, and your valuables.
When Should I Book My Flights?
You can book your flight once your quote is accepted and deposits are paid.
